It operates from either USB1.1 or USB2.0 and requires no external power. You can have up to 4 different cards inserted simultaneously. It can transfer data at up to 480 Mbps - though it will normally be limited by your memory speed.
It comes with an USB Extension cable and driver software for Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Mac OS 9.x and OSX. Note that Windows XP and some 2000 and Mac systems require no additional drivers.
